Bank Street Brewhouse: Modified outdoor seating plans.

As we await the imminent arrival of the brewing system, the outdoor buildout continues. Architect Mose Putney has modified the original sign design and added an office on the green roof ...

... but I digress. Here are drawings of the outdoor patio, and another view of the future.

What exactly is the concrete structure protruding from the top of the stairs, and more specifically what is attached to the end of it?

You know, hops would look (and smell) great growing on that outdoor seating area roof.

Might be difficult to take them down in the winter, I guess.

You can see a circle at the end of the beam. It will be the round NABC sign.

The technical, engineering term is the Viagra beam.

Seriously, it's amazing how nice everything currently is and it looks to get even better.

I see. That will look very good.

I like the greenroof concept, but I'd like rooftop seating more. However, I don't think you want to add so much seating that the kitchen has trouble keeping up or has to sacrifice quality to do so.

Hmm... seating on a green roof...reminds me of a bar in Paris I once went to...they had sod rolled out inside the pub...
