Dinner tonight at Bank Street Brewhouse? Doors unlocked tonight.

We invited neighbors and townies to the Bank Street Brewhouse for lunch today. At the moment we're cleaning up and preparing to do it again this evening. If you'd like to stop by after 5:00 p.m. and check it out, feel free. Scroll past the photo for the menu.

  4. I had a very nice Carbonnade de cheval at Belgo in Paris. It would be hard for Chef Josh to find a proper butcher in this country.

  5. Actually, it would be impossible. The USDA pulled all its inspectors from horse slaughterhouses in 2007, forcing them to shut down.

    I haven't been lucky enough to actually have cheval tartar, but did have a very nice Steack de Cheval with a Poivre Creme sauce at 't Kelderke in Brussels.
