On a personal level I have not been able to bring my family to Sportstime/Richos because my son suffers from allergies and a slight case of asthma. After January we will definitely become patrons. From a professional level I think this is the right move for your establishment. The truth is that most people don’t smoke – those that do can still light up outside and the 80% that don’t can enjoy a smoke free environment. Most importantly, your workers will enjoy the same protections that many people take for granted. <br />Roger may get some grief from a vocal minority, but the vast majority appreciates this change.Kurthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12426074437559798082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10691910.post-55234189288749723592010-08-26T11:27:18.454-04:002010-08-26T11:27:18.454-04:00I'll echo much of what Scott said - smoke does...I'll echo much of what Scott said - smoke doesn't bother me, but kudos for taking a proactive decision and choosing to enact this for the betterment of customers and employees without someone telling you to do so. <br /><br />I'm not the only one who knows your thoughts mean a lot in the local restaurant and beer community - I think even those who may disagree with this decision will trust you're doing the best thing for the P&PH.Michael Anthonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08048065506904987732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10691910.post-61040413558205086642010-08-26T07:14:52.167-04:002010-08-26T07:14:52.167-04:00I know you're going to get a lot of grief abou...I know you're going to get a lot of grief about it, but I want to thank you for this decision. While smoke doesn't bother me, there have been a couple times I haven't been able to go to your place because of a couple friends who are physically unable to go into any place with smoke in it--and yes, that included the "smoke free" half of your establishment. And if you have any worries, just look at Cumberland Brewery's experience. They enacted a smoking ban before Louisville's took effect and their business wasn't hurt in the slightest.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14150256864426864899noreply@blogger.com
